Page Tips

This is a Single Blog Post

A post page displays a single blog post using the site’s post template. It shows the post content along with associated metadata such as date, author, and categories if desired.

Working with Images

Here are generally recommended image specifications and guidelines:

Portrait – Team Member Images

  • Image dimensions: Minimum 800 x 1200 pixels (portrait) or 800 x 800 pixels (square)
  • Aspect ratio: 2:3 or similar portrait ratio or 1:1 ratio
  • Orientation: Portrait or square not landscape
  • File format: JPG or PNG
  • File size: Ideally under 500 KB once exported
  • Resolution: 72–144 DPI (screen resolution)

Banner or Hero Images

Banner or hero images sit at the top of a page or template and are typically full‑width. They should be large enough to display well on wide screens while still cropping cleanly on smaller devices.

Recommended specifications

  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 (landscape)
  • Minimum width: 1920px
  • Ideal size: 2000–2400px wide
  • File format: JPG for photographs, PNG only if transparency is required
  • File size: Aim for under 500 KB after optimisation

Design guidance

  • Keep critical content centred to allow for responsive cropping
  • Avoid placing text near the left and right edges
  • Use simple, uncluttered imagery to support headings or navigation overlays

Image quality guidelines

Please provide the original, full‑size image where possible. Avoid screenshots or images copied from email, Teams, LinkedIn, or other websites.

  • Avoid tight cropping. The image should include head and shoulders, with some space above the head.
  • Ensure the face is sharp and in focus, with no motion blur.
